June is National Men's Health Month
This is a time to remind men of the health issues they face and what they can do to take charge of their health. Men are significantly less likely than women to see a doctor or report symptoms to a health care provider. Let’s talk about the statistics of men’s heath, strategies for living a longer life and hear life changing stories from men in our community.
We are encouraging the women in our community to participate in this years summit; join the conversation - online and in person.
You might be thinking: What does men’s health have to do with me? Plenty! Men’s health issues don’t affect only men; they have a significant impact on everyone around them. And because women live longer than men, they see their fathers, brothers, sons, and husbands suffer or die prematurely. Women are in a unique position to be able to help fight the obstacles men face in getting the health care they need
